CONSTRUCTION. Guarantee of the movement's protection against humidity, dirt, shocks, BERTOLUCCI takes the largest care of the design and the manufacturing f the watch case. The smooth, elegant lines of BERTOLUCCI cases combine aesthetics and functionality. For example, the design of the crown has to integrate it in the case profile, while ensuring its gripping. Moreover, BERTOLUCCI only uses noble and resistant materials: stainless steel and 18 carat gold.

 

WATER-RESISTANCE. Vital point of the reliability, BERTOLUCCI controls systematically and individually the water-resistance of every watch. To guarantee a maximum water-resistance, the case back is secured by 4 screws around the seal. The crown, push-pieces and corrector buttons should not be operated in water; they should always remain in neutral position to prevent the water from penetrating the case and damaging the mechanism. BERTOLUCCI watches are guaranteed to 30 or 50 meters / 100 or 150 feet.

 

CRYSTAL. To best protect the watch, only hard and virtually scratch-resistant sapphire crystal is used by BERTOLUCCI. To complement the performance, BERTOLUCCI adds on some crystals a curved shape to perfectly fit with the case and increase resistance to pressure and shocks; and/or an anti-reflective treatment to offer the best legibility.
