BERTOLUCCI equips the heart of its watches only with movements of the highest quality. Quartz watches are extremely precise (+/- 1 second per week) and have the advantage of keeping time accurately, whether they are worn on the wrist or not. Mechanical self-winding watches are complex assemblies which require micromechanical work considered as some of the highest-class work in watch-making, although the precision of such a mechanism cannot be absolute (+/- 1 minute per week). In order to guarantee the perfect working of every movement thorough quality controls are carried out continuously, following rigid standards.
